User Registration

When you register or subscribe we collect information such as your name, email address, phone number and organisation. This is so that we are able to able to respond to enquiries, troubleshoot technical problems, improve services and to monitor system usage. We may also use this information to contact you on occasion about Essex Insight.  For example, about the availability of the system, changes to Essex Insight, send newsletters or information about data in the website and check that your email address is current and valid.

General users:

If you are a member of the public you do not need to register to use Essex Insight, we will automatically make as much data as possible available to you. You can subscribe to get updates about Essex Insight and all the latest data sets and resources that are available to you.

Registered users:

If you are from a Local Authority or an Essex Insight Partner Organisation then in order to gain access to partnership data and information, access additional tools and get training and support you will need to register for an Essex Insight account

Password requirements:

  • Passwords must be at least 5 characters in length.
  • Passwords must contain at least one numeric character.
  • You cannot use any of your last 5 passwords.
